ANALISIS NILAI KARAKTER MANDIRI SISWA MTS MUJAHIDIN PONTIANAK

Abstrak

Secara Umum tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan gambaran nilai karakter mandiri siswa MTs Mujahidin Pontianak. Secara khusus penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai yang berkaitan dengan: tanggung jawab, kerja keras, disiplin, dan rasa ingin tahu. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 31 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu wawancara, angket dan studi dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian secara umum dapat disimpulkan bahwa gambaran nilai karakter mandiri siswa MTs Mujahidin Pontianak yang menunjukkan kategori “Baik” dengan persentase 79%, dengan hasil persentase setiap aspek sebagai berikut: aspek tanggung jawab menunjukkan kategori “Baik” dengan persentase 80% dapat dideskripsikan siswa mampu menyelesaikan tugasnya, mengatur waktu aktifitasnya, dan dapat menjalankan kewajibannya sebagai siswa. Aspek kerja keras menunjukkan kategori “Baik” dengan persentase 78% dideskripsikan siswa tidak bergantung pada orang lain dalam mengerjakan tugas, bersungguh-sungguh dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar, menggunakan waktu belajar secara efektif. Aspek disiplin menunjukkan kategori “Baik” dengan persentase 82% dideskripsikan siswa mematuhi peraturan/tata tertib yang berlaku disekolah, mematuhi jadwal tugas dan jam belajar disekolah yang telah ditetapkan. Aspek rasa ingin tahu menunjukkan kategori “Baik” dengan persentase 77% dideskripsikan siswa mencari informasi terkait materi pelajaran dari berbagai sumber dan bertanya tentang sesuatu yang terkait dengan materi pelajaran
