Abstrak

Fenomena perilaku siswa di sekolah yang bertentangan dengan norma adat istiadat menandakan telah pudar keyakinan terhadap nilai-nilai luhur sebagai petuah orang tua. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai luhur yang terdapat dalam tradisi local gawe adat Dayak Pantu serta implikasi dalam strategi bimbingan dan konseling. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dan jenis penelitian study deskriptif, informan kunci dalam penelitian ialah tokoh adat Dayak Pantu, sumber data pendukung guru Bimbingan dan Konseling, orang tua, siswa dan buku tradisi perkawaninan adat Dayak Pantu. Fokus penelitian yaitu Implikasi Nilai Gawe Panganten Adat Dayak Pantu dalam Membentuk Karakter Self Love siswa di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 1 Ngabang. Temuan dalam penelitian ini meliputi nilai-nilai tradisi Gawe Panganten dalam membentuk karakter Self Love siswa nilai kekeluargaan, nilai gotong royong, nilai kebersamaan, nilai penghargaan dan penghormatan, nilai kesepakatan dan perjanjian, nilai harmonis. Implikasi dalam bimbingan dan konseling adalah rekomendasi strategi layanan yakni buku diri yang memuat cerita nilai kekeluargaan, nilai gotong royong, nilai kebersamaan, nilai penghargaan dan penghormatan, nilai kesepakatan dan perjanjian, nilai harmonis dan dilengkapi lembar refleksi diri
