Abstrak

AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan dan mengetahui gambaran etika pergaulan siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Serawai Kabupaten Sintang. Dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dan jumlah subyek yang terlibat sebanyak 40 responden. Dalam penelitian ini juga terdapat tujuan khusus etika berbahasa, etika berperilaku, etika berpakaian dan faktor yang mempengaruhi etika di SMA Negeri 1 Serawai Kabupaten Sintang. Etika pergaulan merupakan sekumpulan norma sopan santun yang menjadi suatu pedoman bertingkah laku seseorang dengan orang lain. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu wawancara, angket dan studi dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan etika pergaulan siswa terbilang cukup baik yang ditunjukkan dari aspek berbahasa, berperilaku, berpakaian dan faktor yang mempengaruhi etika pergaulan tersebut di kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Serawai Kabupaten Sintang. Nilai etika pergaulan siswa tersebut masih perlu ditingkatkan melalui kesadaran siswa itu sendiri, pihak sekolah dan orang tua, melalui pemberian layanan informasi berusaha merangsang siswa-siswi untuk dapat berpikir secara kristis sehingga memahami dan mengimplementasikan etika pergaulan dengan baik.
