Abstrak

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan data awal keterampilan komunikasi antar pribadi siswa kelas XI MIPA di SMA Negeri 1 Ngabang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Alat pengumpulan data ini menggunakan kuesioner untuk mengetahui gambaran awal keterampilan komunikasi siswa. Data wawancara, dengan guru BK SMA Negeri 1 Ngabang yang dilakukan oleh peneliti, keterbukaan terhadap orang lain menerima teman baru dan lingkungan baru yang sulit dilakukan siswa, merasa malu ketika maju di depan kelas, dalam menjalin kerjasama saat kegiatan kelompok siswa pasif, tidak secara aktif menyampaikan isi hatinya ketika berkomunikasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI MIPA yang berjumlah 36 siswa dalam 1 kelas, yang terdiri dari 18 siswa laki-laki dan 18 siswa perempuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa studi awal sebelum tindakan, keterampilan komunikasi antar pribadi siswa tergolong cukup dengan rata-rata persentase 68%. Secara khusus dirincikan melalui aspek-aspek berikut, keterbukaan 74%, empati 70%, sikap mendukung 70%, sikap positif 78%, kesetaraan 68%. Perolehan data tersebut masih menunjukan bahwa diperlukan upaya melatih keterampilan antar pribadi agar keterampilan siswa baik. dari temuan data awal peneliti melaksanakan tindak lanjut yakni memberikan perlakuan untuk melatih keterampilan komunikasi antar pribadi melalui bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik role playing
