Abstrak

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa tentang cara membuat keputusan karier melalui layanan informasi karier pada siswa kelas XII di SMK Koperasi Pontianak. Siswa kelas XII di SMK Koperasi Pontianak, pengetahuan siswa tentang cara membuat keputusan karir masih rendah, hanya mencapai 53% masuk dalam kategori rendah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Bimbingan dan Konseling (PTBK) dengan dua siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi, yang melibatkan 18 siswa yang dipilih berdasarkan teknik purposive sampling  sebagai subjek penelitian, Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa setelah diberikan layanan informasi karier, terdapat peningkatkan yang signifikan dalam pengetahuan dan pemahaman siswa tentang cara membuat keputusan karier, peningkatan ini dapat dilihat dari skor rata-rata pengetahuan siswa pada siklus I dan siklus II, layanan informasi karier yang diberikan sesuai dengan aspek pada variabel masalah meliputi pemahaman diri, minat, bakat dan nilai-nilai pribadi. Data dikumpulkan melalui skala psikologis, obserasi dan wawancara kemudian di analisis secara deskriftitif. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan layanan informasi karier dalam bimbingan dan konseling di tingkat pendidikan menengah kejuruan.
