Abstrak

AbstrakTujuan untuk menganalisis kecerdasan sosial pada siswa kelas X, metode yang di gunakan adalah, deskriptif yaitu penelitian yang mendeskripsikan keadaan subjek dan objek penelitian pada saat sekarang berdasarkan fakta-fakta yang tampak, di gunakan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu, teknik komunikasi langsung, komunikasi tidak langsung, dan teknik studi dokumenter, sedangkan alat pengumpul datanya yaitu, skala psikologi, dan panduan wawancara/interview, dan studi dokumenter dan populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X IPS 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 dan X MIPA 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 dengan jumlah populasi 267 orang siswa, dan sampel 39 orang siswa. Dari data yang telah terkumpul lalu di susun dan di gambarkan secara objektif dalam bentuk narasi, maka memperoleh presentase rata-rata 69% dengan kategori "Tinggi" hal ini menunjukan bahwa kecerdasan sosial sangat signifikan dengan nilai perkembangan pendidikan siswa kelas X di SMA Swasta Mujahidin Pontianak, sesuai dengan aspek social insight/wawasan sosial, aspek social sensitivity/kepekaan sosial, dan aspek social communication/penguasaan keterampilan komunikasi sosial.
