Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk dukungan sosial teman sebaya terhadap siswa kelas X di SMA Swasta Mujahidin Pontianak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui angket, wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 42 siswa kelas X yang dipilih secara acak proporsional dari total populasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dukungan sosial teman sebaya terdiri atas empat indikator utama yaitu dukungan emosional, penghargaan, informasi, dan jaringan sosial; keempatnya berada pada kategori sedang, dengan nilai indeks tertinggi pada dukungan informasi. Data wawancara menunjukkan bahwa bentuk dukungan tersebut dirasakan dalam bentuk empati, pujian, pertukaran informasi, dan keterlibatan kelompok belajar. Guru bimbingan konseling memainkan peran penting dalam memfasilitasi interaksi positif dan membentuk ekosistem sosial yang mendukung kenyamanan dan kesejahteraan siswa di lingkungan sekolah. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa keberadaan dukungan teman sebaya cukup membantu siswa dalam menjalani aktivitas belajar dan beradaptasi dengan lingkungan sekolah, meskipun intensitasnya belum sepenuhnya optimal. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan bimbingan konseling di bidang pendidikan dengan menekankan pentingnya membangun iklim sosial yang suportif di sekolah sebagai bagian dari strategi peningkatan kesejahteraan siswa
