Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap dampak bahaya perundungan melalui layanan informasi berbantuan media audio visual di SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Raya. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada masih rendahnya kesadaran dan pemahaman siswa terhadap dampak negatif perilaku perundungan, baik bagi pelaku, korban, maupun saksi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Bimbingan Konseling (PTBK) yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII yang telah direkomendasikan oleh guru Bimbingan dan Konseling, sebanyak 32 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data berupa angket dan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setelah diberikan layanan informasi dalam dua siklus, terjadi peningkatan pemahaman siswa yang cukup signifikan. Pemahaman terhadap dampak perundungan dari sisi pelaku mencapai 69,34%, korban 70,73%, dan saksi 66,84% dengan kategori “Baik”. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa layanan informasi berbantuan media audio visual efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa mengenai bahaya perundungan. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa layanan informasi berbasis audio visual dapat dijadikan strategi yang tepat dalam mencegah dan mengurangi perilaku perundungan di lingkungan sekolah
