ANALISIS PENGUATAN KARAKTER DISIPLIN PADA SISWA KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 12 SUNGAI RAYA KABUPATEN KUBU RAYA

Abstrak

Tujuan penelitian ini secara umum yaitu untuk menganalisis penguatan karakter disiplin siswa pada kelas VIII SMP Negeri 12 Sungai Raya. Tujuan khusus penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) Gambaran disiplin siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 12 Sungai Raya. (2) Peranan guru BK dalam menguatkan karakter disiplin kelas VIII SMP Negeri 12 Sungai Raya. (3) Dampak peranan guru BK dalam penguatan karakter disiplin siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 12 Sungai Raya. Metode dan bentuk yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif, sedangkan bentuk penelitian adalah penelitian survei. Populasi dan sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 12 Sungai Raya Kabupaten Kubu Raya jumlah sampel 106 orang dari 3 kelas  VIII.A, VIII.B, VIII.C, masing-masing di ambil 21 orang setiap perkelas sebagai objek penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah: teknik komunikasi langsung, teknik komunikasi tidak langsung dan teknik dokumenter. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa: panduan wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi. Hasil analisis data yang telah dilaksanakan oleh peneliti, maka secara umum dapat dilihat hasil penguatan karakter disIplin siswa pada kelas VIII termasuk kategori baik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penguatan karakter disiplin siswa pada kelas VIII SMP Negeri 12 Sungai Raya Kabupaten Kubu Raya termasuk kategori baik dengan perolehan persentase sebesar 76,40%. Dari kelas VIII.A total keseluruhan 1.457, kelas VIII.B total keseluruhan 1.435, dan kelas VIII.C 1.470. Dilihat dari kedisiplinan siswa kelas VIII paling ‘Baik’ adalah kelas VIII.C dengan jumlah skor keseluruhan 1.470 dari pilihan jawaban tiap pertanyaan yang dijawab. Pada kelas VIII.A  kedisiplinan siswa paling “Baik” pada indikator 6 yaitu “ siswa tidak menyontek, tidak membuat keributan, dan tidak menggangu orang lain yang sedang belajar” dengan jumlah 9 item pertanyaan memperoleh skor 330 dan kedisiplinan siswa paling kurang terdapat pada indikator 7 yaitu “ lingkungan sekolah” dengan jumalh 1 item pertanyaan memperoleh skor 54. Pada kelas VIII.B  kedisiplinan siswa paling baik pada indikator 6 yaitu “ siswa tidak menyontek, tidak membuat keributan, dan tidak menggangu orang lain yang sedang belajar” dengan jumlah 9 item pertanyaan memperoleh skor 310 dan kedisiplinan siswa paling kurang terdapat pada indikator 7 yaitu “ lingkungan sekolah” dengan jumlah 1 item pertanyaan memperoleh skor 53. Pada kelas VIII.C  kedisiplinan siswa paling baik pada indikator 6 yaitu “ siswa tidak menyontek, tidak membuat keributan, dan tidak menggangu orang lain yang sedang belajar” dengan jumlah 9 item pertanyaan memperoleh skor 334 dan kedisiplinan siswa paling kurang terdapat pada indikator 7 yaitu “ lingkungan sekolah” dengan jumalh 1 item pertanyaan memperoleh skor 57.
